Once again, Santa came to visit our house while we were out looking at Christmas lights in the freezing rain (I got out of church and my car looked like a big icicle!!). Here is our tree with the presents underneath:

I think he likes it!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day!!!

and this is how Andrew came out of his room dressed:

He didn’t realize he had put his foot through the hole in his knee…I kindly informed him that I don’t think he can wear that pair of jeans anymore.

and Grandma and Grandpa were visiting! After cutting down and decorating a Christmas tree (see blog post below this) Grandpa and Andrew had fun playing Wii! Here is some pics of Grandpa boxing with Andrew (note that the next day Grandpa’s shoulder was stiff)…

Saturday night after going out for pizza (Pizza Hut, Andrew’s favorite) Mom and I went to a Live Nativity at a nearby church and Dad and Andrew went bowling…they bowled FOUR games! Even I was tired after hearing that!!!

Sunday we all went to church to see Andrew’s Sunday School program…he did a wonderful job remembering his lines and singing songs. Now we are all ready for Christmas!!

This year I decided that I wanted to get a real Christmas tree…and, not only that, but I wanted to go out with my parents and cut one down, just like we did every year growing up. They couldn’t come visit until the weekend of Dec 19&20, so that is when we went…just in time for Christmas. Here are some pics of the event:

You stand by this tree and we will see if we see a better one (no, we really did not leave him by the tree, that is a joke from growing up)…

or mud…

This is how Andrew looked after playing with his friend. His friend has a little snowmobile and was pulling Andrew in a sled behind it, I guess they found some mud mixed in with the snow.

Tonight was the big night…Andrew’s Christmas concert.  He has been so nervous…this year, he introduced one of the songs!!  He did a FABULOUS job!  Here are some pics:

Tonight was the local Christmas parade, so Andrew and I bundled up to head out and watch.  It was a bit cool (16 degrees, winds at about 9 mph), but we enjoyed ourselves!  Here are a couple of pics (I will be getting a pic of Andrew and myself from a friend and will share that later)…

Andrew and his friend Trevor chatting while waiting for the parade to begin.

Here it comes!

Now Andrew is warming up snuggled under a quilt and watching “The Polar Express”
