When Andrew and I came back from the farm last weekend, we also came with a ton of sweet corn to freeze. Thanks to my Grandpa who planted it, and Larry who picked it! Monday morning while I worked, Andrew and Al husked the corn for me (well, a lot of it anyway, they got too “hot and tired” to finish). When I got home, the fun began! I spent the afternoon cutting, cooking, packing 22 freezer bags of sweet corn. It was a busy day, but we will enjoy it this winter!
I saved a couple of ears of corn out for Andrew to have for dinner Monday night since he requested it (apparently he decided while at Grandma’s house that he likes corn).
